Udhampur, Apr 13 (KNO): Congress party today held a mammoth rally in Udhampur today and party’ star campaigner and former Bollywood actor Raj Babbar sought votes for Congress party’s candidate Choudhary Lal singh. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Raj Babbar attacked the Narendra Modi led government on rise in inflation, increasing unemployment and the Agniveer scheme. “As per the survey conducted by CSDS agency, which is the agency of Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry, three major issues concerning the people came to the fore were inflation, unemployment and Agniveer scheme. Around 75 percent people said that the biggest issue concerning people is rise in inflation whereas 71 percent youth said unemployment is the major issue,” Babbar said. He said that 60 to 62 percent of youth were against the Agniveer scheme as they think that this scheme has ruined the lives of youth who have to retire after four years of service. “This is the retirement time of those who are seeking the third term and not the youth,” the Congress star campaigner said, and asked youth whether they want to get rid of this scheme or not. “Make the INDIA block win this election and once our government is formed at the centre, your Lion, Choudhary Lal Singh, will make the Agniveer scheme history,” he added—(KNO)
